HEALING ARCHITECTURE
Healing architecture is a design concept which represents the vision that architecture affects human well-being and may therefore help strengthen or promote a healing process in the individual.
The basic idea is that architectural design, expressed in the quality of daylight, the room's atmosphere, colour, sound and the ability to be private and safe, can support the healing which takes place both physically and psychologically. In this conceptual framework, architecture plays a central role as a supportive factor in the human healing process.
Curtains are an important element when working with the room's atmosphere, colour and acoustics.
